Refund Policy

Subscriptions

buildtree paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe, our payment processor. Each subscription renews automatically at the end of the billing cycle until you cancel.

Cancellations

You can cancel anytime from the Billing section of your dashboard. Cancellations stop future billing. You retain access to your paid plan until the end of the current paid period; once that period ends, your account moves to the Free tier.

Refunds

We honor refund requests made within 14 days of initial purchase. After 14 days, we do not issue refunds for partial-month usage. Cancellations after the 14-day window take effect at the end of the current paid period rather than as a prorated refund.

If you were charged due to a billing error or unauthorized activity, email us at hello@buildtree.sh within 14 days of the charge and we will investigate.

Plan changes

Upgrades take effect immediately. We prorate the difference between your current plan and the new plan for the remainder of the billing period and charge the difference when you switch.

Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period so you do not lose features mid-cycle. There is no prorated refund for the difference; you simply move to the lower plan on your next renewal date.

Free tier

The Free tier is free forever and has no billing implications. No refunds are applicable.
