Terms of Service

1. The service
buildtree is a hosted platform for distributing mobile app builds to internal QA teams. You upload .ipa or .apk files; we store and serve them via install URLs and QR codes. We do not run, build, or sign your apps.
2. Your account
You sign in with a magic link sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email secure. API tokens issued to your account act on your behalf, so treat them as you would a password.
3. Payment, billing, and refunds
Paid plans are billed by Paddle.com Inc. as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles invoicing, tax (VAT/GST/sales tax), and payment processing on our behalf. Their Buyer Terms apply at checkout.
Subscriptions auto-renew. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; access continues through the end of the paid period. Refund requests made within 14 days of initial purchase will be honored.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use buildtree to distribute malware, intentionally infringing content, or content prohibited by Apple's or Google's developer agreements. We may suspend accounts that violate these constraints.
5. Storage limits and retention
Each tier specifies a hard storage limit and retention window. Builds past the retention window are deleted automatically. We email you when you reach 80% and 100% of any limit.
6. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts for billing failures (after grace period) or acceptable-use violations. On termination, we delete your stored builds within 30 days.
7. Liability
buildtree is provided "as is". We are not liable for losses arising from build distribution, including builds installed by unauthorized testers, app store rejections, or downstream provisioning issues. Aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
